Artist and educator Lisa Wiser will lead us through painting practices and personal creativity while we sip on luscious cosmopolitan martinis. The evening will be filled with fun great food, and an exploration of color and intuitive abstract compositions. All participants will leave with a completed project that expresses each individual's colorscape interpretation. All skill levels are welcome, so bring yourself and a friend.

Art Council will supply all materials, food, and drinks.

Cost is $50 per person.

 Lisa Wiser is a visual artist living and working in Lake Oswego, Oregon. She draws inspiration from the scenic northwest, travel adventures and reading novels to create watercolor, acrylic, and mixed media paintings. Also an avid photographer, she chronicles her visual inspirations as she records obscure landscapes, architectural details, and other intriguing painting subjects.  Lisa earned a BS Degree in Art Education from the University of Oregon in 1978 and has completed graduate coursework in graphic design, art education and painting. Photographic travels to Europe, Turkey, SW USA, and Mexico have inspired her work for the past three decades. Lisa has been invited to serve in both curatorial and juror positions for various arts organizations in the area. She has taught art from pre-school through college and adult level courses and has recently retired as a substitute art teacher for her local school district to devote more time to her painting.
