ACLO in Partnership with LO Reads Present a Special Art Exhibit Featuring Greg Marshall and His Astro-Photo Prints


This exciting visual arts exhibition, in coordination with the City of Lake Oswego LO Reads Program, features the novel Rise of the Rocket Girls: The Women Who Propelled Us, from Missiles to the Moon to Mars by Nathalia Holt.  This riveting, true story of the women who launched America into space during the 1940s and 50s inspired the space themed exhibition.  Artist Greg Marshall will feature his Astro-photography prints at 510 Museum & ARTspace for the month of February, along with work from members of the Rose City Astronomers.

Marshall, a retired electronics engineer, brings his astronomy hobby to life with his photography.  Photos will be for sale throughout the exhibition.

Rose City Astronomers Special Program – Wednesday, February 22 @ 7 p.m.

Come and enjoy an evening with Rose City Astronomers members, Dr. Katherine Kornei and Greg Marshall.  Dr. Kornei who holds a B.S. in astrophysics, and an M.S. and a Ph.D. in astronomy, will give a brief introduction including an audience participation exercise.  Greg Marshall will share his amazing Astro-photographs and describe how he captures and processes these images.
