Family Artmaking

The Arts Council of Lake Oswego is excited to announce Family Artmaking is returning for 2019/2020. This popular program is offered free to the public with a suggested donation to cover supplies.

Children 5 to 12 are invited to participate in new art experiences on selected dates from 2 to 4 p.m. The schedule coincides with Lake Oswego School District’s early release days, allowing parents and caregivers an after-school activity.

Thursday, December 19, from 2 to 4 PM, attendees will be inspired by artist Dale Chihuly and making spiral cut chandeliers. Using a simple spiral cut, participants will create a beautiful hanging piece with multiple spirals and swirls. For an extra touch, glitter, glitter pens, plastic gems, and other sparkles can be added.

Arts Council of Lake Oswego’s ARTspace is located at 510-520 1st Street, Lake Oswego, OR 97034. For more information visit or call 503.675.3738.
