Join us on October 14, 2021, from 6 to 8 p.m. for our next Drink & Draw crafting a HARVEST HEART utilizing European traditional weave techniques. Artist Rosey Covert, known for her exceptional weaving skills, will work with you virtually to craft this beautiful autumn piece that will enhance any decor. Participants will be using Blackbeard wheat and dried local flowers to create the heart, and copper wire will enhance the look. Learn simple plaiting techniques and add your own creative flair for a finishing touch. Optional flowers and leaves will be included in the kits.

The online programming and kits, which include all the materials needed for the project, are $40 per person. Once you sign up, we will send more information, the Zoom link, and how to pick up your kit. Kits will be available the week prior to the event.

Kits include: 7 stems of Blackbeard wheat, 2 lengths of copper wire, local dried flowers and leaves, and 2 rubber bands. Participants will need a towel to keep the wheat wet and scissors.
