Sora, born in Usuki Oita, Japan and currently a resident of Lake Oswego will bring her body of work and performance to the Arts Council of Lake Oswego’s ARTspace and Gallery. Sora creates original pieces utilizing a variety of materials including sumi ink on paper and canvas and is inspired by music, nature, and the energy from those who participate in her performances. Through her performative process, Sora produces a unique artistic expression of a distinct time and place, all in service of the journey of self-awaking – both hers and the audiences.
