Artspace Open Call: CENTER

We invite artists to submit their work for a juried exhibition at Artspace during fall 2024.

Esteemed art historian Sue Taylor, Ph.D., will be the guest juror working with our Curator and Program Manager, Morgan Ritter. The exhibition will be on view at Artspace from September 6 to October 25, 2024

Artists are encouraged to explore the concept of a ‘center’ in their artwork for this exhibition. The center could be understood as the point where all attention is focused or where activity flows outward. It could also be understood as an axis, a core, and a spine. This theme may be abstractly interpreted or more directly visible in the artwork.

We welcome works of all media, including photographs, prints, paintings, video art, sculpture, and installation. Up to three works from each participating artist will be curated into the exhibition. We have limited space available for sculptural work. Review the application guidelines carefully to learn how to submit your work for consideration for this exhibition.

Work displayed in the exhibition will be eligible for the following awards:

  • 1st Place: $250

  • 2nd Place: $125

  • 3rd Place: $75
